Jason P. Barrus ~ (Artistic Director) Jason brings Plaza Theatre Company over 15 years experience working professionally with 3 successful live theaters. He has served each in a variety of  positions including Marketing Director, Customer Service Manager,  Technical Director, Customer Service Representative, Set, Sound and  Lighting Designer, Stage Manager, Director, Choreographer and Actor. 

 In 2002 Jason was recognized by the Deseret News of Salt Lake City for a most outstanding performance as Harold Hill in Hale Center’s Theater production of The Music Man.  Further Jason’s adaptive collaboration of Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol, with award winning composer

Barlow Bradford, is annually produced to play to over 25,000 patrons a year.

His entire life has been spent obtaining hands on experience in virtually every aspect of live theater production.  This experience has accumulated into a life time of contacts in the theater industry.  

Kristina S. Barrus ~ (Director of Education) Tina has over 15 years experience in teaching theater and working with children. Her unique vision springs from a childhood spent in the arts.  She first appeared on stage at the  tender age of 5 on stage and  since then has performed in over 100 productions.

Tina has won many acting awards including Best Actress at Palace Playhouse in Utah.  She received full ride musical theater scholarships to both Utah State University and Weber State University. 

She has directed over 15 community productions including working with award winning composer lyricist Janeen Brady in the world priemiere production of “I Nephi.”  Tina assisted Ms. Brady in adapting the children’s album for stage and directed the cast of 140 performers.
