Chris Seil

Bio

Chris happily returns to Plaza for his 1st show since KISS AND TELL. He reprises the role of Mercier which he played the last time the Barrus' directed THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, at Artisan in Hurst - didn't do it right the first time so they gave him a second chance kind of thing. He has appeared in 30 shows in the area, including his last performance in Cleburne with the Carnegie Players production of It's a Wonderful Life. He counts his Broadway performance in the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City in the male lead role of Papa Ten Boom in THE WEAVING as a highlight in his theatrical career, and of course, his favorite role. Chris built the guillotine used in this show, with some of its parts having been hand-made in his very own blacksmith shop, another hobby besides theatre that he enjoys. He thanks his wife for tolerating his many theatre-caused absences and he thanks JaceSon and Tina for taking a chance and casting him in his first role 6 years ago.
