Hairspray

In 1962 Baltimore quirky teenager Tracy Turnblad has one dream - to dance on "The Corny Collins Show". When she gets detention with the African-American students in the school, they teach her some of their dance moves, and her new found groove makes her an overnight dance sensation. Can her celebrity help her to dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, win the affections of heartthrob Link, and integrate a TV network, all without denting her 'do?
