Kenton Watson is 11 years old and a 5th Grade student at Coleman Elementary in Cleburne, Texas. Kenton really enjoys singing and performing and is very excited to be a performer with Plaza. Kenton’s first introduction to singing was from his older brother Garrett, a Vocal Performance major at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Garrett offered tips on how to warm up the voice and use the piano to help stay on key. Kenton learned of Plaza’s summer camp through a friend and attended his first summer camp in 2013. By the end of that camp, Kenton knew singing and performing was something he had a definite interest in. Kenton auditioned at Plaza for their fall semester and was placed in the Intermediate Showstoppers class and will participate in the Christmas variety show in early December.
