Reecea sends heartfelt thanks to her youngest daughter, Melody, who is a fellow BIRDIE cast member. Because of Melody's support and encouragement, Reecea finally decided to audition for her first Plaza show, ALL SHOOK UP, in 2010. Reecea was a member of a wonderful ASU ensemble and got to play the role of Barfly. BYE BYE BIRDIE marks her third opportunity to perform here. In May 2011 she was Mrs. Rose and the Court Clerk in HELLO, DOLLY! Reecea is crazy in love with her husband, Doyle. They will celebrate their 28th anniversary this fall. She is so proud of their four amazing and talented grown children and five adorable grandchildren. Reecea is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoys teaching Primary, sewing, crafts, home improvement and cooking, and sharing creativity online through her blog "Fresh Juniper" and Pinterest. She is grateful to the Barrus and Siler families for all they do to enhance the performing arts community in Cleburne.
