We are proud to announce our Volunteer Actor Mileage Reimbursement Program.
In order to help offset the travel costs associated with performing in a main stage show at Plaza Theatre Company at Dudley Hall by volunteer actors we are implementing a Volunteer Actor Mileage Reimbursement Program.
How does it work?
The Volunteer Actor (VA) will be reimbursed for miles driven in their vehicle from their home to the theatre and back home for rehearsals and performances up to $300 per production at a rate of .14 per mile.
In order to participate the Volunteer Actor will need to provide:
- Their Home Address.
- Number of Miles from their home address to the theatre at 305 S. Anglin St, Cleburne, TX 76031.
- A log of miles driven by them to and from their home for each rehearsal and performance.
- The log for rehearsals must be turned in by the day after opening night and the log for performances must be turned in by the day after closing night.
Details about the program.
- A portal will be provided to the volunteer actor where they can input their miles.
- Only the number of miles from their home to the theatre and back again can be claimed per each rehearsal and performance.
- For instance if a VA comes straight to rehearsal from their work place in Arlington at 40 miles away but lives in Fort Worth at 32 miles away they can submit up to 64 miles per rehearsal (32 miles x 2).
- Our mileage log portal will figure this automatically. Only starting and ending mileage per rehearsal/performance needs to be submitted.
- Reimbursement checks will be issued Tuesday after opening for qualifying mileage incurred during the rehearsal process and the Tuesday after closing performance for qualifying mileage incurred with performances.
