This is Luke's 30th production with Plaza Theatre Company, even though his last appearance on the Plaza main stage was as Julian Marsh in 42nd ST, almost a year ago. Since then he has directed the PTC production of SHREK THE MUSICAL, played Claudius in Cleburne Shakespeare in the Park's production of HAMLET, Lt. Schrank in Plaza Academy's production of WEST SIDE STORY, and Sweeney Todd in the Granbury Theatre Company's production of SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET. He is the theatre arts director at Alvarado High School, and co-owner of Dance Across Cleburne with his wife, Rachel.

ROBERT SHORES

Robert is delighted to be returning to the Plaza theater stage having most recently been here in SHREK the musical. He has been performing all over the metroplex for the past 3 decades. Among his favorite roles and shows are Charlie Baket on the FOREIGNER, Fredrick Fellowes in NOISES OFF, and Marc Antony in JULIUS CEASAR, this elusive Robert can also be spotted on film in season 3 of PRISON BREAK, DEALEY PLAZA, and ZUGIO and the SUNSHINE KIDZ. Finally and most importantly he would like to thank you the audience for supporting love theater and the arts, hope you enjoy the show.

TRICH ZAITOON

Trich is excited to be back performing at Plaza where she considers it her home. She was last scene in a play called THE WAKE in Dallas. Her favorite shows here at Plaza, that you may have seen her in, are THE FOREIGNER, STEEL MAGNOLIAS, BYE, BYE BIRDIE and OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS. Trich is thrilled to work with director Christine Attwell for her vision and organization of this show. She would like to thank Christine for including her in this amazing cast and crew. Trich is represented by Linda McAlister Talent. But, her best role ever is MiMi to three grandbabies. Trich would like to wish you all a very healthy, happy and safe New Year filled with love, joy and adventure.

With this appearance in THE GAMES AFOOT, Jay is performing in his 30th Plaza show and his 55th show overall here in Johnson and Hood Counties since 2005 when he made his Texas debut as Buzz Adams in the Greater Cleburne Carnegie Players production of SOUTH PACIFIC. Although many of you may believe that Jay is in every Plaza show, he actually only appeared in four last year, as if that isn’t enough? He played Uncle Henry in THE WIZARD OF OZ, Abner Dillion in 42ND STREET, Mr. Maraczek in SHE LOVES ME, and John Pendleton in POLLYANNA. Jay also appeared last summer in The Carnegie Players production of Les MISERABLES. A retired educator from Colorado, Jay lives in Cleburne with his wonderful wife of seven years (yes they met here in Texas), and they enjoy travelling and spending time with Corlis’s three grandchildren. Jay is the author of two published novels, The Cross of Lorraine and A Litany of Angels.

Gale is delighted to be on the Plaza stage for the first time. Some of her roles have been Mrs. Tottendale in Drowsey Chaperone, Calpurnia in “To Kill a Mockingbird”, Ma Bailey in “It’s a Wonderful Life”, Mom in “Legally Blonde”, Ms Fezziwig from “Christmas Carol”, M’Lynn and Clairee from “Steel Magnolias”, Matilda in “All Shook Up”, Yente in “Fiddler on the Roof”, Mrs. Winthrop in “Secret Garden”, Sally in “Cash on Delivery”, Miss Casewell in “Mousetrap”, along with appearances at Mary Lou’s Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, “Broadway on the Brazos” and co-directing “the Big Toy”. She would like to thank her husband, daughters, son in laws and friends for their enduring support.

Marisa is thrilled to be making her Plaza debut in THE GAME'S AFOOT! Marisa is a senior BFA Theatre: Acting emphasis student at Texas Christian University who will graduate in May of 2016. Most recently, she appeared as the Little Nun in THE HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES at Onstage in Bedford. Marisa has been seen in seven Theatre TCU productions, including TIGERS BE STILL, MEASURE FOR MEASURE, STOP KISS, and THREE SISTERS. A few of her favorite previous roles include Millie Owens in PICNIC with Stolen Shakespeare Guild, Aunt Polly Harrington in POLLYANNA with Garland Civic Theatre, and Mary Warren in THE CRUCIBLE with McKinney Repertory Theatre. You may remember Katherine from her PlazaCo debut in POLLYANNA. You may have seen Katherine over at the Opera House in Granbury recently as Jean-Louise Finch in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, part of the dance chorus in SPAMALOT, or as Susy Hendrix in WAIT UNTIL DARK, among several others. Katherine would like to thank the director, Taffy, along with the Plaza producers for allowing her to share this story with them. She would also like to thank her parents, Brenda and Gene Adams and Alan and Cecelia Anthony, for their never ending support. Previous directing credits include HELLO, DOLLY! and CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN and musical direction for A CHRISTMAS CAROL. As an actress, favorite roles with PlazaCo include Marguerite in THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, Betty Blake in WILL ROGERS FOLLIES, Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and Penelope in SEE HOW THEY RUN. Christine would like to express her admiration for this tremendously talented cast and crew. "You've made this production a director's dream and so much fun!"
