CHRISTINE ATWELL

Christine is honored to once again take the Plaza stage. Previously, she has appeared in roles including Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Marguerite in THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, Eliza Doolittle in MY FAIR LADY and Lily in THE SECRET GARDEN. A long time performing arts participant, Christine has enjoyed working with The Fort Worth Opera, The Fort Worth Youth Orchestra, The Fort Worth Civic Orchestra and The Brazos Chamber Orchestra and as a private music instructor for Mansfield ISD. When not pursuing artistic endeavors, Christine stays busy keeping up with her awesome family (“lots of love to Jeff, Lauren, Garrett, Morgan and Blake!”) and training for half-marathons.

TABITHA IBARRA

Tabi is thrilled to be playing in one of her favorite comedies! She grew up with this show and is so excited to be in it now as an adult. Tabitha is a recent newlywed, a choreographer, and a dance/musical theatre/vocal teacher at Plaza Academy. Past favorite roles include Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Eponine in LES MIS, and Peggy in 42ND STREET. She sends a shout out to all of her awesome students for filling her life with color, and to her wonderful family for their support and love. She is especially enjoying being on stage with her two brothers and amazing husband in Toes. She would especially like to thank husband Saul for going on this crazy adventure with her, and for being her "person".

JAY A CORNILS

Jay A Cornils, who is reprising his role as Randall Wright, first came to Cleburne from Colorado in 2004. His former life included a career in education – teaching English and Speech at the middle and high school levels for nearly twenty years. He completed his career as an athletics administrator. During this time, he coached volleyball and track, leading his 1979 girls’ track team to the Colorado State Championship. Jay also officiated football for over 30 years, basketball for 25 years, and track & field for two decades. As both an AD and an official, Jay served on innumerable leadership committees and boards at the local, state, and national levels. After retiring, he came to Texas to help care for his mother, who passed away in May of 2006. By then Jay had discovered the community theaters of Johnson County and regained his love for the stage, which he had nurtured during his high school and college years. Katherine was last seen on the Plaza stage in MARY POPPINS and as Dorcas in SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, which quickly became her favorite show she's ever had the joy of performing. Beyond the Plaza stage, you may have seen her most recently over in Granbury as Lina Lamont in SINGIN' IN THE RAIN! Katherine would love to thank her parents for always supporting her and believing in her. Most importantly, Katherine wants to thank her baby girl, Jaydn Eve for always being excited for Mommy's new endeavors! "Je t'aime, Petite!"

Michael is thrilled to start off the new year as Hank Stover in THE MAN WITH THE POINTED TOES at Plaza Theatre. It has been an immense pleasure for him to work with old friends and meet new ones while bringing this show to the stage. He was last seen on stage as Uncle Billy in the Carnegie Players production of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. Some of his most memorable roles to date have been Heck Tate in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, Max Levene in HEAVEN CAN WAIT, and Cheif Bromden in ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOOS NEST.

Parker is excited to be in his nineteenth production here at Plaza. He's enjoyed playing roles like Willard in FOOTLOOSE and Yurlte the Turtle in SEUSSICAL here at PlazaCo in the past. He's also loved playing drums for SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE and JOSEPH, also at Plaza. In his spare time he loves learning to play new musical instruments.

Cameron is happy to be performing at PlazaCo for this production of MAN WITH THE POINTED TOES. As well as performing in the show, he also designed the lights and and for many other productions here at PlazaCo. Past performances include Young Fool in BIG RIVER, Riff in WEST SIDE STORY, Daniel in SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, and Nelson in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN . In his spare time Cameron likes to design lights, tinker with computers, and hang out with Madison.

Quentin Scott is honoured to be performing in his second production at Plaza! His first as Robertson Ay in MARY POPPINS earlier this year, and his second as Lem Reed in MAN WITH THE POINTED TOES. While Quentin hasn't performed all over North Texas like some of his cast members, he knows Plaza is indeed a special place. It has in his own words, "a certain je ne sais quoi to it" that makes him particularly elated to be here. The luster of working with such talented folks hasn't worn off yet, and he doubts it ever will!

THE MAN WITH THE POINTED TOES is Saúl's first show. He is not a theatre person so he was afraid to do it, but as time has passed he has felt more comfortable, and now he is very excited to be here. He is excited to have a better understanding of his wife's passion. Saúl thanks his wonderful and talented wife for encouraging him to do this show, and to the rest of the cast for their patience and talents and advice that they have shared with him through this time. He sends love to his family even though they are not able to come and see the show.

Tina is often seen backstage at Plaza busily sewing costumes but she also loves co-Directing and has loved doing so with oldest daughter Tabitha. Some of her past favorite roles include Emily in OUR TOWN, Florence in MAN WITH THE POINTED TOES (for which she won the Column Award for Best Actress of 2011) and Fairy Mae in THE CURIOUS SAVAGE. She is also the proud mother of 7 fantastic children and sends her deep and abiding love to husband JaceSon (yeah, he wrote this for her).
