Matt's previous Plaza appearances include MARY POPPINS, SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, THE LITTLE MERMAID, HEAVEN CAN WAIT, and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Matt was born and raised in Cleburne. After completing a degree in Computer Science from Harvard University, he worked as a software developer for Microsoft Corporation, followed by 9 years at a hedge fund outside of New York. He moved back to Cleburne in 2015.

This is the first lead role for Tommy at Plaza. He is very excited to bring this role to the stage. Previous credits include MARY POPPINS, ALL I NEED TO KNOW I LEARNED IN KINDERGARTEN, and OUR TOWN. Tommy also has served as music director for Plaza in shows such as OLIVER! as well THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL. He works at Smith Middle School here in Cleburne and has recently finished his doctorate degree in Music Education. Victoria is a third grade student at Texas School of the Arts. She has loved musical theatre since she was a toddler and aspires to perform on Broadway one day. She has appeared in a number of productions through the Casa Mañana Education Department and at TeSA. This is her first appearance with the Plaza Theater Company, and she would like to thank Jodie and Soni Barrus for the wonderful opportunity they’ve given her here. Cooper was last seen in OLIVER as a member of the Kids Ensemble at Plaza Theatre Company. In his spare time, Cooper is active in Cub Scouts, takes drum lessons, vocal lessons, and attends the Musical Theatre Stars class at Plaza Academy. Previous roles include JoJo in SEUSSICAL KIDS, Sebastian in THE LITTLE MERMAID JR, Pabbie in FROZEN KIDS and Sandy in ANNIE KIDS, all at Plaza Academy. She played Sister Berthe in SOUND OF MUSIC and Fruma Sarah in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at Granbury Theatre Co. She loves all things Disney and Harry Potter and she raises dogs, chickens and daughters in Glen Rose. This show is extra special to her because she gets to share the stage with her daughter, Emily. Previously he was seen in FREAKY FRIDAY as Fletcher Blake and as Jimmy in POLLYANNA. Carter was privileged to join Plaza Academy’s senior company this past year and attend his first Junior Theatre Festival in January, where they won the Outstanding Production Award for their performance of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. At Plaza main stage last spring, he played the little Donkey in E-I-E-I- OOPS! Cameron also enjoyed being in SEUSS ON THE LOOSE MINI for theater camp this summer and is currently enrolled in his second season of the Plaza Academy’s Little Performers class. She also had the pleasure of being in the classic, beautifully done story of CINDERELLA this past Spring. Sarah is so excited to be performing again at Plaza in the production of CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. Some of her favorite past roles include Ms. Hannigan in ANNIE JR, Alana in THE LITTLE MERMAID JR, and Alice in THE ADDAMS FAMILY. Sarah has been dancing for 8 years and loves performing. She is thrilled to be teaching at Plaza Academy starting this fall. Sarah would like to thank her friends, family, and teachers for supporting her as she develops her talents and for always believing in her.

Soni and Jodie are at it once again after directing LITTLE WOMEN last fall. Other directing credits at Plaza Theatre Company include LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, FATHER OF THE BRIDE, HEAVEN CAN WAIT, THE KING AND I, THE WIZARD OF OZ, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, THE LITTLE MERMAID, THE MUSIC MAN, JOSEPH....DREAMCOAT. They also directed ALL SHOOK UP and Soni directed THE SECRET GARDEN at the Granbury Theatre Company. Soni has also directed numerous productions at other theaters including Hale Center Theatre in Salt Lake City and Stagestop Theatre in Logan, Utah. While not directing, Soni and Jodie have performed in several Plaza productions. Soni is also the resident Prop Master and Jodie is the Box Office Manager.

Other favorites include ALWAYS PATSY CLINE, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, WONDERETTES: DREAM ON, SHREK, JOSEPH...DREAMCOAT, HELLO DOLLY, THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES, MEET...ST. LOUIS, GODSPELL, LITTLE WOMEN and DECADES OF DIVAS (part of the concert series) with Granbury Theatre Co. Caitlan graduated from TCU. Makenna is so excited to be choreographing her first show at Plaza! This is her last show before she leaves for NYC to attend the Steps on Broadway Conservatory!
