has been active for many years throughout the DFW area as an actor, opera singer, and music director, but some of her favorite performances have been right here on the Plaza stage, most recently as Betty Blake in WILL ROGERS FOLLIES. You may remember her as Mary Poppins, Maria in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, Marian in THE MUSIC MAN, Betty in WHITE CHRISTMAS, and Mae in TUCK EVERLASTING. She is also very proud of her work as music director for THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, for which she won a Column Award. Other favorite roles include Baker’s Wife in INTO THE WOODS, Mabel in PIRATES OF PENZANCE, Guenevere in CAMELOT, Amalia in SHE LOVES ME, and Luisa in ZORRO THE MUSICAL. Recently, Meredith performed as a soprano soloist in the Fort Worth Opera’s HANDEL’S MESSIAH concert. She sends all her love to Tyson, her husband of 26 years!

Rose Ivie (they/them) is very excited to join Plaza Theatre Company for another wonderful show! Here at Plaza, you may recognize them from their performances as Prince Topher (CINDERELLA), Ham (THE ARK), Sherlock Holmes (BASKERVILLE), Neleus (MARY POPPINS), and from other ensemble and dance corps roles. They have also appeared as Franz Liebkind (THE PRODUCERS), Prince Herbert/French Taunter (SPAMALOT), Aunt March (LITTLE WOMEN), and Cowardly Lion (WIZARD OF OZ) at the Granbury Opera House. Some of their other favorite roles have been Jason (BARE: A POP OPERA), and Tony (WEST SIDE STORY). They have also Directed Music Directed many productions. Other roles include Paul Irving in ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, Jeremy Potts in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG and a member of the Kids Ensemble in OLIVER, all at Plaza Theatre Company. In his spare time, Cooper is active in the Burleson ISD Archery Team, Boy Scouts, drum lessons, and attends the Musical Theatre Stars B class at Plaza Academy. Previous roles include Donkey in SHREK JR, JoJo in SEUSSICAL KIDS, Sebastian in THE LITTLE MERMAID JR, and Pabbie in FROZEN JR, all at Plaza Academy. Cooper attended the Junior Theatre Festival in Sacramento in February with the ShowCo group where they won the Excellence in Dance Award. Other credits include Audrey in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Ado Annie in OKLAHOMA, Margot in LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL, and Jo March in LITTLE WOMEN THE MUSICAL. Jessica earned a BFA in Theatre Performance at Baylor University. She then went on to work for The Walt Disney World Resort as a "Fairy Godmother in Training"! Jessica now owns and runs the theatre company The Hopeful Theatre Project and serves on the Board of Directors for Mainstage Irving-Las Colinas and THE COLUMN AWARDS. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with her theatre performance degree and this past year has enjoyed playing roles like Kira in XANADU, Fritzie Kost in CABARET, and Josephine in Firehouse Theatre’s small cast version of BIG FISH. When she’s not onstage, you can find her teaching aerial yoga and kids classes at Weightless back home in Wichita Falls, TX. Carter is currently in the 8th grade at Alvarado Jr. High where he is active in honors band, tennis, drama select and part of the GT program. This is his eighth appearance on the Dudley Stage. Previously he was seen in ANNE OF GREEN GABLES and OLIVER. His favorite role so far was playing Jimmy in POLLYANNA. Carter is privileged to be part of Plaza Academy’s senior company and has attended two Junior Theatre Festivals where they have earned several awards to the group. Carter would like to thank his family and friends for their constant love and support but most importantly his Oma (Diane Ryan) who is willing to stay late to drive him home and who is always there when he needs something last minute. This is David's second show at Plaza Theatre Co. He played Henry Ford in last season's production of RAGTIME. This time, however, David is stepping off the stage and directing the music for this production of Big Fish. This is David's second time to music direct BIG FISH. He was the Thespian All-State Music Director in 2015 for their award-winning production of BIG FISH which went all the way to nationals. David will next appear on the Plaza stage in the role of Joseph Pulitzer in NEWSIES. David wants to thank his family for all their support and especially his wife, Dawn. Cessany graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a bachelor's in theatre and did some continuing education at TCU. Abby is thrilled to join the production team of BIG FISH in the role of Assistant Stage Manager. When not at the theatre, she is a homeschool teacher of language arts to two very bright students. She enjoys gardening, painting, and snuggling with her dog and cat.
