Audition Notice - HAMLET at Cleburne's Shakespeare in the Park from Plaza Theatre Company
Plaza Theatre Company and Cleburne’s Shakespeare in the Park are pleased to announce auditions for the upcoming production of HAMLET. The production will be directed by Kevin Poole with assistant direction by Quentin Scott and stage management by Channing Rodriguez and Lauren Hanson. The initial audition is a call for video submissions which should be submitted no later than Sunday April 12th at midnight.

AUDITION INFORMATION
The audition video should include the reading of any of the attached dialog sides in the style of the character you are auditioning for. The auditioner should submit the video as part of filling out the linked Google Form to audition. Dialog Sides and Character Descriptions are available by visiting the linked Google Form.
Performers of any ethnicity, race, color, sex, gender, age, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, and who are differently abled are welcome and encouraged to audition. We are actively seeking all ethnicities for all roles. ALL ROLES ARE OPEN.
PLEASE NOTE** - A few of the roles in the show may call for participation in intimate moments or staged combat moments. In all associated circumstances trained and certified Intimacy Directors and Fight Directors will stage these moments having sought and obtained the consent of those involved.
A call back audition will be held on Tuesday April 14th at 7:00pm at Plaza Academy at 221 S. Mill Street in Cleburne. Those who the directors wish to see further will be invited to the call back audition which may last up to 3 hours time. PRODUCTION INFORMATION
The production will play two performances - Friday May 29th and Saturday May 30th starting at 8:00pm. Rehearsals will begin around Saturday April 18th and will usually take place Monday thru Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings until opening. No Sunday rehearsals or performances.

ABOUT CLEBURNE’S SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK
This one weekend early summer event is jointly presented by the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce and Plaza Theatre Company. The 10th annual event will include vendors, live music and a performance of one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies at 8pm.

Plaza Theatre Company is a 276 seat theatre-in-the-round located at 305 S. Anglin Street in Cleburne, TX. The Company produces around 12 shows a year usually in the style of family-friendly comedies and musicals. PlazaCo opened in November of 2006 and is currently producing its 202nd show.
