Plaza Theatre Company is pleased to announce that audition video submissions for its upcoming production of MOANA JR are now open. This notice is a call for video submissions to audition for the show.
AUDITION INFORMATION -
Those who wish to audition must submit their completed video by 11:59pm on Friday September 25th. The video should include the reading of any of the attached dialog sides in the style of the character you are auditioning for as well as the singing of 32 bars of music in the style of the show. The auditioner should submit the video as part of filling out this Google Form to audition:

Performers of any ethnicity, race, color, sex, gender, age, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, and who are differently abled are welcome and encouraged to audition. We are actively seeking all ethnicities for all roles. ALL ROLES ARE OPEN.
Should the Production Team need to see anyone further for a Callback Audition, those who will be invited to attend will be notified by Saturday September 26th at 9:00pm. The Callback audition will be held the evening of September 28th at 5:00pm at the Plaza Academy, 221 S. Mill St., Cleburne, TX. Everyone who submits an audition video will be notified of casting decisions regardless of whether or not they are called back or cast.
The Production Team for MOANA JR includes Jess Jennings as Director with Tabitha Ibarra as the Musical Director, Emmie Vaughn as Choreographer, and Grace Latta as Stage Manager. Tabitha Ibarra is the Plaza Jr at Plaza Theatre Company Producer.
PRODUCTION INFORMATION -
MOANA JR will play on Saturday afternoons opening on Saturday November 7th and playing thru Saturday November 21st. There will also be two Field Trip performances on Friday, November 20th at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. opening on Saturday November 7th and playing thru Saturday November 21st. Rehearsals will commence on or around Monday October 12th.

Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, MOANA JR is sure to bring out the hero within each of us.

Plaza Jr is part of the Musical Theatre program at Plaza Academy. The program offers performance opportunities to Student Artists through its acclaimed SHOW STUDIO Intensives. Student Artists participate in Show Intensive Musical Theater Classes which culminate in performances on Saturday evenings at Plaza's Main Street Theatre located at 111 S. Main Street in Cleburne, TX. Plaza Jr presents around SIX Jr style productions a year at this location.
