JOEL LAGRONE

Returning to this neck of the woods for the first time in Cleburne, Joel is a veteran of long running shows THE PROMISE and GRANBURY LIVE. He has mostly performed in the DFW area the last 7 years as Lancelot in CAMELOT, Frank in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, Erik in PHANTOM, Noah in THE ARK, Scrooge in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Harold in MUSIC MAN, the Prince/Chorus in ROMEO AND JULIET and Elvis in CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR! Degreed in mechanical engineering he has supported his musical habit over the years creating next generation fighters, helicopters and passenger planes alike for several major aerospace contractors. He loves to sing with classic rock bands and trip out to the Ballpark in Arlington to sing the Star Spangled Banner or God Bless America. Joel is thankful for the friendship and encouragement of Aaron and JaceSon and all the sweet folks at Plaza. He is blessed to have the love and support of his best friend and Dulcinea D'Aun and dedicates his 'chivalrous' performance to her.

As the 'M' in the 'JTAM' co-founding producers here at PlazaCo Milette has appeared in many productions, most recently as Muriel Eubanks in DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. She has also been the Baker's Wife in INTO THE WOODS, Martha in SECRET GARDEN, Lucy in GOOD MAN...CHARLIE BROWN, and Eliza in MY FAIR LADY, just to name a few. She has also been seen in the DFW area at OnStage in SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE. Milette will be continuing her pursuit of a Nutrition Science degree at TCU in the fall, and THE MAN OF LA MANCHA will be her last role on the Plaza stage while she focuses on her academic pursuits. She would like to send best wishes to her lovely double, Shannon and all her terrific castmates with whom she feels so honored to share the stage. Milette also sends big hugs and kisses to her wonderful family!

Shannon loose is having a blast playing making her plaza dabut and playng her favorite role for the second time. Over the last eleven years you may have seen her on the Carnegie stage in such roles as Maria from Sound of Music, Marion from Music man and Jadis the White Witch from Lion Witch and Wardrobe. More recently she played Jadis again at Kids who care. Shannon considers herself exceedingly blest to have the opportunity to work at Travis Academy of Fine Arts where she directs and teaches acting, dancing and voice to some of the most wonderful students God put on this earth. She is the proud mother of two sons, both musicians and artists in their own right. She wishes to express thanks to this generous spirited cast family and most importantly to the love of her life Brian, who endlessly supports her.

Michael McMillan is excited to be performing on the Plaza Theatre stage for the first time! Michael graduated from Baylor University with a B.A. in Theatre Arts and Music in December 2012. Since moving to the Metroplex in January, Michael has been seen as Alex in A BRIGHT NEW BOISE at Circle Theatre and Snout/Cobweb in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM with Shakespeare Dallas. At Baylor, Michael performed in the ensembles of DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, and GYPSY as well as playing the role of Shumann in INDOOR/OUTDOOR and Demetrius in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. By day, Martin teaches English at Mountain View College, but has dedicated much of his evenings and weekends to following his second vocation, namely singing. He has served as a Cantor at the Church of the Incarnation at the University of Dallas in Irving for more than 20 years, and he sang for many seasons with the internationally acclaimed Turtle Creek Chorale. In recent years, he has expanded into opera and musical theatre. His favorite roles include: Kevin Rosario in IN THE HEIGHTS at Artes de La Rosa; Ciccio in THE MOST HAPPY FELLA at Lyric Stage; and Sky Masterson in GUYS AND DOLLS, Thomas Andrews in TITANIC, and Walter in CHESS, all of which were produced by Brookhaven College. His classical work includes chorus/ensemble roles for the following companies: The Dallas Opera, the Fort Worth Opera Festival, and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Chorus. Martin is also grateful for all the angels who have appeared in his life to keep him from despair. “To each his Dulcinea”.

This is Luke's 20th production at Plaza Theatre Company and his 2nd appearance in MAN OF LA MANCHA having previously played Pedro in the 2008 Carnegie Players production. He has appeared on the Plaza stage as Long John Silver in TREASURE ISLAND, Froggy LeSeuer in THE FOREIGNER (for which he won a 2013 Column Award for best featured actor in a non-equity play), Anthony Drexel Biddle in THE HAPPIEST MILLIONAIRE, and himself and a few other people in THE COMPLEAT WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (abridged). He has also acted with the Granbury Theatre Company as John Dickinson in 1776 and Eric Swan in CASH ON DELIVERY, and locally with the Carnegie Players as Aslan in LION...WARDROBE, Count Dracula in DRACULA, and Thomas Jefferson in 1776. Luke is the Theatre Arts Director at Alvarado High School starting this fall and is a co-owner of Dance Across Cleburne with his wife, Rachel.

Emily cannot believe that she has the privilege to be a part of this show. She most recently played Mrs. McAfee in Bye Bye Birdie. Other past roles include Golde in GTC's Fiddler on the Roof, Mrs. Cratchit in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Sarah Brown in GUYS AND DOLLS and Betty Blast in FOOTLOOSE. C. PAMELA VALLE – (Prisoner/Housekeeper) This is Pamela’s fifth appearance at the Plaza, playing the part of one of the Prisoners and Housekeeper. She was previously seen as the Sultan’s wife in DON’T DRINK THE WATER, a Nubian slave in AIDA, Frau Schmidt/nun-ensemble in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and as the Queen of Transylvania and ensemble in MY FAIR LADY. Pamela is re-entering the world of theatre, having taken a hiatus from the stage to return to school. She graduated from Texas Wesleyan University last summer with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies Degree. Pamela served as a music missionary evangelist for 25 years and has traveled throughout the U.S. and internationally. Pamela feels humbled and excited to be a part of the Plaza Theatre family. Pamela “Thanks” her husband of 42 years (Mike), for all his support. Mike, daughter Sondra and Granddaughter Tennyson are her #1 fans. She Loves Her Family! GOD is Good!!

Solomon is back for his 11th production with PTC. Some of his favorite roles here have been Mereb in AIDA Chief Sitting Bull in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN. He holds a BFA in theatre from Tarleton State University and currently working towards a degree in Mathematics. He has performed at many theaters around the metroplex such as Theatre 3, Artisan Center Theatre, and Onstage in Bedford.

Best known in and around the Johnson and Hood County area as an actor, Jay actually spent most of his life as an educator and sports official. He officiated football for over thirty years most of which were in Colorado at the high school level. He served on state and national committees and boards as an official and as an activities director. Now retired, Jay stays young by keeping up with the amazing theatrical talent of the southwest Metroplex. He last appeared on the Plaza stage in DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS and his last performance was as Thomson in the Granbury Theater Company's production of 1776 in the Hood County Courthouse. Jay is the author of two published novels, which are available online at crossoflorraine.com and litofangels.com, and he lives in Cleburne with his lovely and supportive wife Corlis.

JAY LEWIS is always thrilled to be on stage. Earlier this summer, Jay played Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF for the Greater Cleburne Carnegie Players. He has recently been seen in Plaza's SOUND OF MUSIC, A CHRISTMAS CAROL and FOOTLOOSE. Jay is extremely proud of the two critically acclaimed Plaza shows he's directed -- CRAZY FOR YOU and GUYS AND DOLLS. You may also remember him playing the role of Cinderella's Father in INTO THE WOODS and in ALL SHOOK UP as Jim Haller, Natalie's father. As well as Doolittle (Eliza's Father) in MY FAIR LADY, Maurice (Belle's father) in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and Clem (Will's father) in WILL ROGER'S FOLLIES. Do you see a pattern? Eric has a bachelor's degree in Theater Arts from Brigham Young University with a minor in Ballroom Dance. Eric also teaches social dance at Dance Across Cleburne and competes with his gorgeous and amazing wife Bria. Eric has performed in several theatre shows including SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, PIRATES OF PENZANCE and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Eric has also worked in almost all aspects of theatre, including directing, choreography and dramaturgy. He is very excited to bring his talents to the Cleburne area and to have the opportunity to show off his skills in ballroom dance, theatre and guitar, though not necessarily in that order. Lindsay is excited to be working on her third production at PlazaCo. She has stage managed several shows before, some of her favorites include RAGTIME, WEST SIDE STORY, SWING!, CAMELOT, PROPOSALS, JOSEPH.....DREAMCOAT, BIG RIVER and TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. Lindsay is the recipient of two Column Awards; 2010 Stage Manager of a Play Non-Equity; TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD and 2011 Best Stage Manager Non-Equity.
