Hillard is a 30 year resident of Cleburne where he has had the great opportunity to raise his three children and share his time with his wife and eight grandchildren. He is a retired teacher and now keeps busy as a handyman. He has preformed in or built sets for over 25 productions with the local Greater Cleburne Carnegie Players. He has portrayed such characters as Atticus in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, Tin Man in OZ, Willie in SUNSHINE BOYS, Don Quixote in MAN OF LA MANCHA, Starbuck in RAINMAKER, The Beast in BEAUTY AND BEAST, Harold Hill in MUSIC MAN, and The Captain in SOUND OF MUSIC. "I would like to thank my dearest wife,Kathy, who sacrifices so much of her time and energy to allow me to play at my hobby, The Theatre, and God above for the talent to do so ."
couldn’t be happier to be revisiting her favorite role with such an amazing cast and production team! You may remember her from other performances here at Plaza such as Anna in THE KING AND I, Maria in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, Marguerite in THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, Baker’s Wife in INTO THE WOODS, and Marian Paroo in THE MUSIC MAN. Other recent roles include Martha Jefferson in 1776 and Mabel in PIRATES OF PENZANCE. Meredith’s first love is the opera stage, and she has performed several operatic roles professionally in venues including Fort Worth Opera, Opera East Texas, and Living Opera. Some favorite roles include Yum Yum in THE MIKADO, Adina in ELIXIR OF LOVE, Fiordiligi in COSI FAN TUTTE, and Donna Anna in DON GIOVANNI. Meredith was most recently seen on the concert stage as part of Fort Worth Opera’s “Frontiers” program, with whom she is a regular soloist. She is forever grateful for the support of her loving family and sends them all lots of hugs and kisses.
Rounding out a fun year of shows in Cleburne, Joel has mostly performed in the DFW area the last 8 years as the King in THE KING AND I, Cervantes/Quixote in MAN OF LA MANCHA, Frank in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, Erik in PHANTOM, Noah in THE ARK, Scrooge in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and Harold in THE MUSIC MAN! With no formal music or theatre training, a mechanical engineering degree from Southern Methodist supports his performance habits. He loves to sing with classic rock bands AeroMotion at Lockheed Martin, Self Righteous Bruthers and Maximum Acoustic and regularly trips out to Globe Life Park in Arlington to sing the Star Spangled Banner or God Bless America. Joel is thankful for the friendship and encouragement of Luke and Rachel and ALL the fine folks at Plaza. He is blessed to have the love and support of his best friend and teacher D'Aun and dedicates his 'knightly' performances to her.
David is excited to be back on stage, he was last seen in RAGTIME at plaza as well as THE HAPPIEST MILLIONAIRE. He is an antique dealer and likes to study ancient history. .
JASON PHILLIP COLE
is happy to be returning to Plaza for his second show here. Jason made his theatrical debut at plaza last year as the Barber in MAN OF LA MANCHA. He also appears this year as Frank in the short film MUSTACHE MIKE AT THE FUNERAL. Jason is looking forward to spending a lot of time on the stage and on camera this year.
JAY A. CORNILS
Since first appearing on stage in Johnson County in the Carnegie Players 2005 production of SOUTH PACIFIC, Jay has appeared on stage in forty-three plays. CAMELOT marks his 23nd as an actor with PTC. He last appeared on the Plaza stage in THE KING AND I as the Kralahome; however, he last worked with PTC as assistant director on the beautiful production of ENCHANTED APRIL. Last year, he also appeared with the Granbury Theater Company as Juror #3 in 12 ANGRY MEN and as Thomson in 1776. The list of his other performances includes other fan favorites such as Elwood P. Dowd in HARVEY, Abe Goldman in BEAU JEST, and Grandfather in the Plaza’s award-winning production of RAGTIME. Jay has two published novels available online at crossoflorraine.com and litofangels.com. Jay lives in Cleburne with the greatest blessing of his life, his lovely and supportive wife Corlis.

This is Kathy’s third time to be part of the wonderful PlazaCo family. Previously she played Mrs. Peacock in CLUE THE MUSICAL and Mother Abbess in SOUND OF MUSIC. She has also worked with Grand Prairie Arts Council as Sophie/Annette/Frances Perkins in ANNIE, Vi Moore in FOOTLOOSE, Mistress Mary in BABES IN TOYLAND, and Lena Astor in the dinner theater production of WEDDING BELLS BLUES. Some of her other favorites from the past include roles in THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, MUSIC MAN, I NEVER SAW ANOTHER BUTTERFLY, THE LOTTERY, TOM JONES, and SHOW BOAT. Kathy graduated from Howard Payne University where she was a vocal performance major. She has recorded one album of sacred music, has sung with the Dallas Symphony Chorus, and continues to work as a concert vocalist. She thanks Luke & Rachel Hunt and Dick Helmcamp for allowing her to be a part of this talented cast. She has enjoyed the journey to the magical time of King Arthur…and her “lake condo.” As always, “My love to Jim."

Jesse is extremely excited to be in CAMELOT, which is his fourth show here at Plaza. His other performances being BYE BYE BIRDIE, DEAR RUTH, and KISS ME KATE. Jesse has had a passion for performing ever since he can remember, and he began his career when he joined the CONSUMING FIRE drama team at Eastern Heights Church. Ozzie Ingram is excited to be a part of the CAMELOT cast and working with this talented creative team and the Plaza family. Ingram is employed by Dallas Baptist University where he has directed and appeared in several productions. Recent theater credits include Joe Boyd in DAMN YANKEES OnStage in Bedford, and Pop/Kringelein in GYPSY Denton Musical Theater. He received a Dooley Award for Best Actor in a Featured Role for his portrayal of Big Jule GUYS AND DOLLS Runway Theatre. Thanks to family and friends for their love, encouragement, and support in this adventure in musical theater.

He has enjoyed meeting and working with new and old friends on this show. Michael has been involved in several college and church productions, spanning over 20 years. Some of his more memorable roles have been The Lion in ANDORCLES AND THE LION, Chief Bromden in ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST, and Brocker Slade in THE WAKE OF JAMEY FOSTER.

Show number five for Nathan and he is thrilled that it is this one. Last seen in PlazaCo's New Year's Eve production of CASH ON DELIVERY, he's made the transition from modern day English Undertaker to Medieval era peasant turned knight. He has taken part in past Plaza productions such as Charles Dicken's A CHRISTMAS CAROL, where he played a Charity Man, ARSENIC AND OLD LACE as Officer Brophy and GUYS AND DOLLS as Liver Lips Louie. The stage is only one creative and artistic outlet for Nathan, as he has recently finished a novel and is attempting to find an agent to help him publish it. In time, he hopes to start working on a musical manuscript for both the big screen and the theater.
Molly is excited to be back at Plaza for CAMELOT. You may remember Molly from MAN OF LA MANCHA or as Ursula in BYE BYE BIRDIE. She currently attending Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts where she has had the opportunity to play Millie in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE JR., Lily St. Regis in ANNIE JR. and Helena in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. Molly would like to thank the cast crew and her family for this experience!
Is delighted to be back on the Plaza stage working with such a brilliant and very talented cast. Favorite roles include Mayor Matilda Hyde in ALL SHOOK UP; Mrs. Potts in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST; the cantankerous Sister Berthe in THE SOUND OF MUSIC; Mrs. Paroo in MUSIC MAN; Reuben’s wife in JOSEPH…DREAMCOAT; Mrs. Merkle in BYE, BYE BIRDIE and A CHRISTMAS CAROL. While not on stage, Cherie devotes her time to her family and her employees as Human Resources for the ATC Freightliner Group. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Joe, for 32 years; blessed with two children, Samantha and Daniel, and has three of the most precious grandchildren, Hayden, Piper and Sutton. Her heartfelt thanks go out to her family and friends for their love and encouragement during the last year.
Stacey is excited to return to musical theatre with this lovely show. You may remember that last time she sang and danced-as Earnestina Money in HELLO DOLLY! here at Plaza. She was last seen on the Plaza stage as Ms. Cowper in the fun farce CASH ON DELIVERY. You may remember her from THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER and A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM with the Carnegie Players or from SEE HOW THEY RUN or CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN here at Plaza. Stacey has a BFA in Theatre Performance from UT Arlington and enjoys knitting, sewing, reading, and showing off her slick dance moves in aisles of grocery stores. Joshua is ecstatic about being a part of CAMELOT. He has been in previous shows at PlazaCo including BYE. BYE BIRDIE, RAGTIME, FOOTLOOSE and CHRISTMAS CAROL. He feels priveleged to to say that this is his 5th plaza production. He is especially thankful for the sacrifices people have made to let him be on the plaza stage and is having the time of his life.
Nolan is thrilled to be back for his 9th show with Plaza Co. and has been involved in 5 shows for Greater Cleburne Carnegie Players. A few of his favorite roles have been Dill in KILL...MOCKINGBIRD, Tommy in FATHER...BRIDE, and Dan in CHEAPER..DOZEN. Nolan is a 10th grade homeschooler who participates in JCCE and TAFA co-ops, and takes classes at Plaza Academy. Nolan enjoys longboarding, video games, dancing, and theatre. Romans 3:23.
Michael is an upcoming senior at the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts (FWAFA) and is excited to make his return to the Plaza stage for his 7th production. You may have previously seen Michael on the Plaza stage in RAGTIME, BYE BYE BIRDIE, and most recently as Sgt. Chuck Vincent in DEAR RUTH. Some of his favorite roles include Joe Stoddard in OUR TOWN and Kyle in LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL, both at FWAFA. William is very excited to be making his Plaza Theatre debut. You may have seen him as a yellow haired Oompa Loompa in WILLIE WONKA JR with Plaza Academy, Ollie Herdman in THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER with the Carnegie Players, or Tommy Bailey in IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE with the Carnegie Players. When William is not on stage, he enjoys playing the piano, reading, riding his bike, and hanging out with his little brother Otha.
Greg has performed in many plays over the course of his acting career. Although, this would be his first with the Plaza Theater Co. Previously he has performed, mainly, with the Carnegie Players in productions such as WIZARD OF OZ and MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET. He is ecstatic to be in another play after a two year break. Being in the production of CAMELOT has given new light, for Greg, on a new type of stage. He would like to thank the rest of the cast and crew for such a wonderful experience!
Kendall is pleased to return to the Plaza stage for another wonderful show. Kendall recently made her debut appearance as a Royal Wife in THE KING AND I and hopes to take part in many more shows to come. "Thanks to my mom for being my biggest fan!"
Lena is so excited to be a part of this great show! She has also been on stage as an orphan in ANNIE with Plaza Co., and always loves being a part of Plaza's Summer Camps where she's been in JUNGLE BOOK, SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK, and JOSEPH...DREAMCOAT. Lena is an 8th grade homeschooler who enjoys dancing, acting, singing, babysitting, and drawing. Lena is an active part of JCCE, JCSA, and TAFA homeschool co-ops, and takes dancing classes at Plaza Academy.

Maddie is thrilled to be part of CAMELOT.She realized how much she enjoys musical theatre after BYE, BYE, BIRDIE summer camp at Plaza Academy last year. Maddie has been in THE KING AND I and WHITE CHRISTMAS since then. She enjoys singing, dancing, reading, and hanging out with her friends. She is grateful for her family keeping up with her busy schedule and thankful to Luke Hunt for this opportunity.
Madison feels so privileged to participate in this wonderful production. She was last seen in her school's production of JOSEPH...DREAMCOAT and Plaza's WHITE CHRISTMAS. She is a member of Centennial High School's Swim Team and National Honor Society. She would like to thank everyone who has worked so hard to make this show great.
NOELLE MITCHELL (Ensemble) is delighted to be back on the Plaza stage with this wonderful cast and crew. An 8th grader at Christian Life Preparatory School and Travis Academy of Fine Arts, Noelle was bitten by the theatre bug when she first appeared in Carnegie’s OLIVER! at age 7. Past roles include- Pepper in ANNIE at PTC, Imogene Herdman in Carnegie’s THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER, and Prissy Andrews in ANNE OF GREEN GABLES. This is Luke's 23rd production at Plaza Theatre Company and his 3rd time directing for Plaza. He has appeared on the Plaza stage as Long John Silver in TREASURE ISLAND, Froggy LeSeuer in THE FOREIGNER (for which he won a 2013 Column Award for best featured actor in a non-equity play), himself and a few other people in THE COMPLEAT WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (abridged), The Duke/Dr. Carrasco in MAN OF LA MANCHA, and as Judge Harry Wilkins in DEAR RUTH. He has also acted with the Granbury Theatre Company as John Dickinson in 1776, Eric Swan in CASH ON DELIVERY, and Lloyd Dallas in NOISES OFF! and locally with the Carnegie Players as Aslan in LION...WARDROBE, Count Dracula in DRACULA, and Thomas Jefferson in 1776. Dick is very happy to be back at PTC in the role of Music Director. He is a 32 year veteran of the Greater Cleburne Carnegie Players and this is his ninth show with Plaza as either music director or actor. Dick won the Column Award for his work as music director on AIDA at Plaza, which he lists as one of his favorite shows, along with THE FANTASTICKS for which he served as music director and director for GCCP just this past spring. Rachel is thrilled to be on the production staff for Camelot. She has choreographed for Plaza before in DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, as well as choreographing productions at many other theatres. Rachel has also danced in several Plaza productions including WHITE CHRISTMAS, GUYS AND DOLLS, CRAZY FOR YOU, and JOSEPH...DREAMCOAT. Rachel loves working with her husband Luke Hunt as well as the entire Plaza production staff. It gives her a fun break from her regular job: running Dance Across Cleburne, Johnson county's only Ballroom and Country Western Dance studio (which is conveniently right down the street.) Rachel would like to thank her students and studio staff for allowing her to be at the theatre so much. Also, special thanks to JaceSon and Tammy for building a functioning maypole! RUTH ANN WARWICK
is participating in her 8th production here at Plaza. You may have seen her recently onstage as Dora, in DEAR RUTH, Frau Schmidt in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, a villager in CHRISTMAS CAROL, immigrant woman in RAGTIME or Shaindel (Motel's mother) in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. Ruth Ann also feels immensely honored to have stage managed this year's THE KING AND I as well as last holiday season's WHITE CHRISTMAS. Her life long love of theater has been realized here with the tremendously talented, dedicated and loving team of producers, directors, actors and staff that Ruth Ann has been privileged to work with in the past 2 1/2 years. Tina has loved designing and creating costumes for this beautiful musical and is grateful to have had the help of so many in getting these costumes ready. She has received multiple Column Awards for her costume design work and has again been nominated this year for her design of WHITE CHRISTMAS. Other favorite designs include RAGTIME, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL and WILL RODGERS FOLLIES. She always sends a shout out to her lovely children who are an inspiration to her in everything she does.
TAMMIE PHILLIPS (Properties) Tammie loves her job as properties manager here at Plaza Theatre Company! She considers it a precious gift to work for a theater that truly supports family first. One of her most favorite things to do is to be in a room filled with flowers that are waiting to be made into something beautiful. CAMELOT allowed her many fun and challenging opportunities to do that. Tammie would like to thank her friends for supporting her and her family. Their love and support means so much to the entire Phillips family. She would also like to thank and praise God for allowing her to use the creative gifts and for placing her to serve in the community theater world . Katy Phillips is the daughter-in-law to Prop Mamma, Tammie Phillips. She is married to Ron Phillips, Jr. and the mother of one beautiful daughter, Karis. Katy has been to numerous productions at Plaza (to see family David Phillips or Tammie Phillips in previous shows), but CAMELOT is her first show to help prop. She likes to sew, read, write and spend time with Karis and her hubby.
We are so happy to have Hazel as the rehearsal pianist for CAMELOT. She has helped us with auditions and rehearsals several times in the past. Miss Bell is an elementary music teacher for two schools in Cleburne Independent School District and serves the First United Methodist Church in Cleburne as organist and children's choir director. Hazel has been rehearsal pianist and music tech person for Carnegie Players for nine years.
