Disney’s The Lion King Jr. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved movie The Lion King performed by an all-youth cast as part of our Plaza Academy Show Studios.

Disney's The Lion King Jr. tells the story of Simba, a young lion prince who is destined to be king. When his evil uncle Scar murders his father, Mufasa, and manipulates Simba into believing it was his fault, Simba flees the Pride Lands. He grows up carefree with Timon and Pumbaa, but eventually, he must confront his past and reclaim his rightful place as king, facing Scar and saving his pride.
