Auditions are: February 13th thru February 22nd, 2026
Plaza Theatre Company is pleased to announce that audition video submissions for its upcoming production of SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS are now open. This notice is a call for video submissions to audition for the show. Both a detailed Character Description of available roles as well as Audition Dialogue Sides are available below.
AUDITION INFORMATION -
Those who wish to audition must submit their completed video by 12:00pm on Sunday February 22nd. The video should include the reading of any of the attached dialog sides in the style of the character you are auditioning for as well as the singing of 32 bars of music in the style of the show. The auditioner should submit the video as part of filling out this Google Form to audition:

Audition Sides
Performers of any ethnicity, race, color, sex, gender, age, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, and who are differently abled are welcome and encouraged to audition. We are actively seeking all ethnicities for all roles. ALL ROLES ARE OPEN.
PLEASE NOTE** - A few of the roles in the show may call for participation in intimate moments or staged combat moments. In all associated circumstances trained and certified Intimacy Directors and Fight Directors will stage these moments having sought and obtained the consent of those involved.
Should the Production Team need to see anyone further for a Callback Audition, those who will be invited to attend will be notified by Monday February 23rd at 10:00pm. The Callback audition will be held the evening of February 24th at 7:00pm at the Plaza Academy, 221 S. Mill St., Cleburne, TX. Everyone who submits an audition video will be notified of casting decisions regardless of whether or not they are called back or cast.
The Production Team for SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS includes Abby Watson Martinez & Freddy Martinez Jr as Director with Meredith Browning as the Musical Director, Miranda Barrus as Choreographer, Jorilyn Tasker as Intimacy Director, Jacob Hanson as Fight Director, and Cessany Carpenter as Stage Manager. JaceSon P. Barrus, Tina Barrus and G. Aaron Siler are the Plaza Theatre Company Producers.
PRODUCTION INFORMATION -
SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS will play on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings and Saturday afternoons opening on Friday April 10th and playing thru Saturday May 9th. Rehearsals will commence on or around Saturday February 28th.

SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS It's a high-spirited, crowd-pleasing musical set in the rugged Oregon frontier, where a group of rowdy backwoodsmen set out to find wives with hilarious and heartwarming results. Featuring energetic dancing, catchy tunes like "Bless Your Beautiful Hide" and "Goin' Courtin'," and a charming love story at its core, it's a toe-tapping celebration of romance, adventure, and frontier fun.
