Zachary is so excited to be in his first production with the Plaza Theatre Company. Earlier this year, Zach graduated from North Crowley High School in Fort Worth where he participated in 15 productions. He has been seen as George in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, Daniel in TRIBES, and Coalhouse Walker Jr., in RAGTIME and he is so honored to present The Cat in the Hat! This fall Zach will be attending Sam Houston State University for a BFA Musical Theatre degree. Henry is homeschooled and also attends Travis Academy of Fine Arts where he studies acting, music, art, and violin. Brian Lawson is ecstatic to be in his very first Plaza show. Over the last several years, he has performed in numerous shows with the Granbury Theatre Company. Some of his favorite roles include, Alfred von Wilmers in ROMANCE/ROMANCE, Smudge in PLAID TIDINGS, Dr. Neville Craven in THE SECRET GARDEN, Edward Rutledge in 1776, Boolie Werthan in DRIVING MISS DAISY, Therardier in LES MISERABLES and Tevye the Dairyman in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. Mr. Lawson has also been blessed to have been involved in THE PROMISE in Glen Rose, portraying roles such as Matthew, Herod, Nicodemous, the Angel Gabriel, and Peter.

Some of her favorite roles include Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Meg in LITTLE WOMEN, and Annabel Glick and LUCKY STIFF. Jessica graduated from Millikin University's department of theater and dance. Aside from performing Jessica is a teacher at Ohlook Performing Arts Center, as well as the theater director at Richland Middle School. She is a graduate of Queen's University in Ontario with studies in theatre and classical music. A five time Column Award nominee with three wins (INTO THE WOODS, ANNIE, SUNSET BOULEVARD), she was recently seen in SPAMALOT with Stolen Shakespeare, ASSASSINS at Onstage, and URINETOWN with ICT Mainstage. There are people in this world that are so good at turning in a bio on time and then there is David Goza. This is his sixth show here at PlazaCo so you think he would know by now to turn in his emails. I am beginning to think that he would prefer to have me write odd things about him just to see what I will put here. I think this is part of his wild side. I will tell you what I do know about David. He currently teaches theatre classes in Mansfield High School (or somewhere over there), He is pleasant to be around and bathes regularly (for the most part). He is a pleasure to have in the cast and is nice to everyone he meets. David will be in the upcoming production of BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO. Maybe he will bite the bullet and write his own bio then. We can only hope.

Cessany gave up the life of a professional quidditch player to become a professional stage manager, and is so glad she did. She recently received the 2014 Column Award for Best Stage Manager, and has stage managed/assistant stage managed over 20 productions. Cessany comes with credits from San Diego Opera, The Glimmerglass Festival, and Fort Worth Opera. She has been involved in every summer camp and show since 2007. Her favorite shows at PlazaCo are BYE BYE BIRDIE, both productions of FOOTLOOSE, JOSEPH... DREAMCOAT, and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. She was very active at Alvarado High School's theatre department. Crystal earned the highest title of International Honor Thespian and has either stage managed or acted in many productions in high school such as LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, FEMALE TRANSPORT, and advanced to Area in all 4 one-act competitions. She will be a senior this fall at the University of Texas at Arlington, studying for a Honors Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Ty Drury is eleven years old and lives with his family in Fort Worth, Texas. He enjoys homeschooling and is the oldest of four children. In his free time, Ty enjoys singing, playing sports, and hanging out with his friends and his pets. This is Ty's first performance at the Plaza Theater Company and looks forward to many more opportunities in the future. Emersyn Drury is six months old and this is her first stage performance. She was adopted at birth by The Drury family and is the youngest of four children. Emersyn is excited to be in this show with her big brother, Ty. She is a true blessing and a joy to be around. She loves playing with her siblings, her toys, and is currently working on her next adventure, crawling.

When not performing Scarlett enjoys watching sports with her daddy, playing with her puppy, Bruno Mars, Dr. Phil. She would like to thank Tina for approaching her for this role when she was 1 day old.

Stacey has appeared on the Plaza stage in more than a dozen shows, most recently as Lotty Wilton in ENCHANTED APRIL. She is excited to change hats for a little bit, and take on the job of doing props for such an imaginitive and fun show as Seussical. Kelly is so blessed to have spent the summer with PlazaCo.! Having been seen on stage here as Christine in DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, Ruth in DEAR RUTH, and in the dance corps of WHITE CHRISTMAS, Kelly is excited to add choreography to her resume with both ALADDIN, JR. and SEUSSICAL. Monica is excited to be back in the booth for this fabulous show. She was last seen in "White Christmas" as Rhoda. When not on stage or behind the scenes Monica enjoys working at Daggett Elementary in the Early Childhood program and finishing up her senior thesis at University of Texas at Arlington. She will graduate in December 2014. Thanks to this amazing cast for making my job easy, and to my family for always supporting me, I love you all.

TINA BARRUS

Tina is often seen backstage at Plaza busily sewing costumes but she also loves co-Directing and has loved doing so with oldest daughter Tabitha. She also loves teaching and looks forward to the Camp Show every year. Some of her past favorite roles include Emily in OUR TOWN, Florence in MAN WITH THE POINTED TOES (for which she won the Column Award for Best Actress of 2011) and Fairy Mae in THE CURIOUS SAVAGE. She is also the proud mother of 6 fantastic children and sends her deep and abiding love to husband JaceSon (yeah, he wrote this for her).
