JOEL LAGRONE (King of Siam) Returning to this neck of the woods for a sophomore trip, Joel is a veteran of long running shows THE PROMISE and GRANBURY LIVE. He has mostly performed in the DFW area the last 8 years as Doc in FOR UNTO Y'ALL, Lancelot in CAMELOT, Frank in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, Erik in PHANTOM, Noah in THE ARK, Scrooge in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Harold in MUSIC MAN, and the Prince/Chorus in ROMEO AND JULIET! Degreed in mechanical engineering from Southern Methodist he supports his musical habits creating next generation fighters, helicopters and passenger planes alike for several major aerospace contractors. He loves to sing with classic rock bands and trip out to the Ballpark in Arlington to sing the Star Spangled Banner or God Bless America. Joel is thankful for the friendship and encouragement of Soni and Jodi and all the fine folks at Plaza. He is blessed to have the love and support of his best friend and teacher D'Aun and dedicates his 'kingly' performance to her.

is so happy to be back on the Plaza stage! You may remember her from other performances here at Plaza such as Maria in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, Marguerite in THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, Baker’s Wife in INTO THE WOODS, and Marian Paroo in THE MUSIC MAN. Other recent roles include Martha Jefferson in 1776, Guenevere in CAMELOT, and Mabel in PIRATES OF PENZANCE. Meredith has degrees in vocal performance from Abilene Christian University and Boston University, and she has performed several operatic roles professionally in venues including Fort Worth Opera, Opera East Texas, and Living Opera. Some favorite roles include Yum Yum in THE MIKADO, Adina in ELIXIR OF LOVE, FIORDILIGI in Cosi Fan Tutte, and Donna Anna in DON GIOVANNI. As always, she sends lots of love to her wonderful and supportive family.

This past year you may have seen Christia as the Social Worker in RAGTIME with Uptown Players and Turtle Creek Choral, Charlotte Cardoza in TITANIC with The J Players, Margaret in 9 TO 5 at Garland Summer Musicals, Mother Goose at THE TEXAS STATE FAIR, and Miss Hannigan in ANNIE with The Grand Prairie Arts Council. Since first appearing on stage in Johnson County in the Carnegie Players 2005 production of SOUTH PACIFIC, Jay has appeared on stage in forty-two plays. THE KING AND I marks his 22nd with PTC. He last appeared on the Plaza stage in CASH ON DELIVERY as Uncle George. Last year, he also appeared with the Granbury Theater Company as Juror #3 in 12 ANGRY MEN and as Thomson in 1776. The list of his other performances includes other fan favorites such as Elwood P. Dowd in HARVEY, Abe Goldman in BEAU JEST, Al Lewis in THE SUNSHINE BOYS and Grandfather in the Plaza’s award-winning production of RAGTIME. Jordan is 14 years old, and is appearing in her first production at the Plaza Theatre. She loves music, and she's learning to play piano and guitar, as well as taking vocal lessons. Jordan is very involved in her church, and last summer traveled to China on her first mission trip. She would like to thank her friends and family for being supportive. She would also like to thank her Lord Jesus Christ for giving her this passion and love for music, and the ability to glorify Him with it.

In addition to the performing arts, Kaitie enjoys riding horses and playing basketball. This is her seventh production at Plaza, having been Annie in ANNIE, Marta and Louisa in SOUND OF MUSIC, Amaryllis in MUSIC MAN, Alice in BYE BYE BIRDIE, and most recently Miriam in DEAR RUTH. She has also performed the role of Mary Lennox in SECRET GARDEN with Granbury Theatre Company, and she has performed with Casa Mañana and the Fort Worth Opera. Suzi has just recently graduated from cosmology school and can't wait to start working in the field. Suzi is also so excited to be a new aunt!
