MARTIN GUERRA
(Professor Bhaer)
Martin was last seen in this theatre as the Padre in MAN OF LA MANCHA. He has served as a Music Minister at the Church of the Incarnation in Irving for more than 25 years, and he sang for many seasons with the Turtle Creek Chorale. He has performed all over the DFW area in musical theatre and opera. His favorite roles include: Don Quixote in MAN OF LA MANCHA and Kevin Rosario, IN THE HEIGHTS, both at Artes de La Rosa; Ciccio, THE MOST HAPPY FELLA at Lyric Stage in Irving, and Thomas Andrews, TITANIC at Brookhaven College. In 2014, he played the title role in ALEXANDER'S HOUSE with the TCC Chamber Chorus and the role of Dr. Madden in NEXT TO NORMAL, for which he just won a Column Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical, Non-Equity. His classical work includes ensemble roles for the following companies: The Dallas Opera, the Fort Worth Opera and Casa Mañana. He dedicates this performance to the “little women” in his life, his four nieces: Hayatt, Mariam, Haggar, and Fatimah.

KELLY SINGLETON

Kelly is absolutely blessed to be a part of this incredible show! A proud middle school teacher and Baylor grad (sic 'em!), she has been in eight Plaza shows, most recently as Pinocchio in SHREK. Regional credits include TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA and ROMEO AND JULIET with Stolen Shakespeare Guild. BONNIE AND CLYDE at WaterTower Theatre, LUCKY STIFF at Granbury Theatre Center, and SIDESHOW at PFAMILY Arts. She has also spent five summers performing and teaching with the Much Ado About Shakespeare! youth intensive. This one is for her precious family- especially Matt and Fer-Fer!

is ecstatic to be on the PlazaCo stage for the second time in the beautiful show! Some of her favorite roles include, Beth March in LITTLE WOMEN, Martha in 7 BRIDES FOR 7 BROTHERS and June Sanders in SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN. Joanna works full time as an office manager and feeds her theater addiction at night. She enjoys reading, drawing, making her baby nieces and nephew(due aug 3rd!) laugh, and spending time with her family and friends. "Thank you to my amazing family and the Lord for His amazing grace!"

Haley is a sophomore at the University of Texas at Arlington in pursuit of her BFA in Musical Theatre. Some of her favorite credits include Edna in WAITING FOR LEFTY at UTA, Bianca in THE TAMING OF THE SHREW and Ronette in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at Tarrant County College, Annette in ANNIE at Theatre Coppell, and the Brick Pig in SHREK THE MUSICAL at PlazaCo. She is so grateful for the opportunity to work with this wonderful cast and crew and would like to thank her family and best friend, Christian, for always pushing her to strive for greatness.

KILEY NICOLE PEARSON

Kiley is very excited to be making her PlazaCo debut in this wonderful show! She is currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at Sam Houston State University, and was recently seen in their production of Cabaret. You may have also seen her as Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme in Onstage at Bedfords production of Assassins the Musical. Roles at other institutions include Maria (The Sound of Music), Kim Macafee (Bye Bye Birdie), Helen of Troy (Trojan Women), and Bianca (Taming of the Shrew). Kathy was a vocal performance major at Howard Payne University. She has sung with the Dallas Symphony Chorus, has recorded an album of sacred music, and continues to work as a keynote speaker and concert artist. With this production of LITTLE WOMEN Kathy is making her seventh appearance at Plaza. She has worked at this wonderful theater as Mother Abbess in SOUND OF MUSIC, Mrs. Peacock in CLUE THE MUSICAL, Nimue in CAMELOT, Esther Simowitz in BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO, Glinda in WIZARD OF OZ, and most recently as Queen Lillian & Wicked Witch in SHREK. Additional favorite roles include FOOTLOOSE (Vi Moore), ANNIIE (Sophie, Annette, Frances Perkins), BABES IN TOYLAND (Mistress Mary), WEDDING BELLS BLUES (Lena Astor), MUSIC MAN (Maud Dunlop), SHOWBOAT (Magnolia). Kathy would like to thank Aaron Siler for giving her the opportunity to work with this talented cast. It has been an honor to be "Mom” to my four girls. Jordan Crites (Laurie) is a third-year student at TCU from Little Rock, Arkansas, who is pursuing a B.F.A. Musical Theatre Major. Jordan has performed in four shows while at TCU, those being GUYS AND DOLLS, WE NEED A LITTLE CHRISTMAS, THE LAST TEN YEARS and SPRING AWAKENING. While a student at Pulaski Academy, he appeared as Laurie in LITTLE WOMEN, the Tinman in THE WIZARD OF OZ, and Ren in FOOTLOOSE. After graduation, Jordan plans to work professionally as an actor whether it be in the DFW area or elsewhere.

Christia is delighted to return to Plaza Theatre for her third show after previously appearing as Lady Thiang in THE KING AND I and Yente the Matchmaker in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. Christia, a De Soto resident, most recently played Mrs. Tottendale in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE (Firehouse Theatre). Other favorite roles include: Margaret, the Lush, in Garland Summer Musical's 9 TO 5 (Column Award Nomination), Miss Hannigan in ANNIE! (Grand Prairie Arts Council), Charlotte Cardoza in TITANIC (J Players), Miss Bates in EMMA (Stolen Shakespeare Guild), and Welfare Official in RAGTIME (Uptown Players/Turtle Creek Choral). Christia enjoys choral singing, tutoring Mathematics, and will be performing 96 shows as Mother Goose at The State Fair of Texas for the 5th year this fall!

Jake is thrilled to be making his Plaza debut with this wonderful show! He graduated from mime school last year, and is excited to be back in a show with words. Jake's future aspirations are to be a pirate that sails the 7 seas, a professional Christmas caroler, and the star of the up and coming broadway show "I Want it That Way", a jukebox musical of only Backstreet Boys songs. He believes he is secretly a descendant of The Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov, and was a ninja in a past life. Jake has been in plenty of shows all over the U.S. but won't bore you by listing them as you have probably never heard of them, because who has heard of a mime show? Jake would like to thanksCessany, aka Queen of the World, for being awesome, writing this bio, and not making the whole thing full of lyrics from 90's pop songs.

Aaron has also won multiple Column Awards including Best Actor in a Musical (as Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF), Best Director, Best Scenic Design, and Best Sound Design, and the Rudy Seppy Volunteer Award. This is Doug’s seventh PTC production in which he has served as musical director, having previously directed the music for DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, WHITE CHRISTMAS, 42nd STREET & three summer kid's musicals, JUNGLE BOOK, ALADDIN & CINDERELLA. Once a nightclub singer throughout New York’s famous “borscht circuit,” Doug’s professional & community theatre experience in Texas, Kansas & New York also includes lead & supporting roles in OKLAHOMA, MAN OF LA MANCHA, A MOST HAPPY FELLA, THE DESERT SONG, FUNNY GIRL, MUSIC MAN, HELLO DOLLY, ANNIE, COLE, THE DROWSEY CHAPERONE, HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS…, CRAZY FOR YOU, WHITE CHRISTMAS & BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO.
