Jesse Bowron first performed as Hugo Peabody in BYE BYE BIRDIE at Plaza and has since appeared in several shows including KISS ME KATE, CAMELOT, and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Most recently, he played Black Dog/Smollett in TREASURE ISLAND. Jesse recently acquired a BA in Theatre Arts from Ouachita Baptist University. Jesse loved Zorro when he was growing up, and he is ecstatic to appear on the Plaza stage for his seventh time for this role of a lifetime! MEREDITH BROWNING

is thoroughly enjoying this year of playing tough Spanish women, having recently portrayed Manuelita in Fort Worth Opera’s production of Carmen. She finds it a refreshing change from her roles of British queens (CAMELOT), British nannies (MARY POPPINS, THE KING AND I), and British ghosts (SECRET GARDEN). Other favorite roles here at PlazaCo include Amalia in SHE LOVES ME, Maria in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and Marian in THE MUSIC MAN. Meredith’s first love is the opera stage, and she has performed several operatic roles professionally in venues including Fort Worth Opera, Opera East Texas, and Living Opera. Some favorite roles include Mabel in PIRATES OF PENZANCE, Adina in ELIXIR OF LOVE, and Donna Anna in DON GIOVANNI. Meredith performs regularly with the Fort Worth Opera, on both the Bass Hall stage and as part of their “Frontiers” program, a showcase for new operas. She sends lots of love and thanks to Tyson. Matt's previous Plaza appearances include HAIRSPRAY, SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, THE LITTLE MERMAID, MARY POPPINS, HEAVEN CAN WAIT, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and SHE LOVES ME. Matt was born and raised in Cleburne but moved away to attend Harvard University where he completed a degree in Computer Science. He performed regularly at several professional and community theatres in the Boston, Seattle, and New York City areas. He spent 9 years as a hedge fund trader outside of New York before moving back to Cleburne in 2015 to join the family business.

Courtney is muy emocionado about bringing the spicy Inez to life on the Plaza stage. A former attorney turned homeschooling mother of two, Courtney is also the Worship Minister at Retta Baptist Church in Burleson. Last year she decided to unfold the next chapter of her journey and try her hand at theater, and she's so glad she did! Proving that anyone can be anyone they want to be, Courtney's previous PlazaCo appearances were as Mrs. Potts in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and Mrs. Brill in MARY POPPINS. Other favorite roles include Violet in 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL at Granbury Theatre Company, Sister Mary Patrick in SISTER ACT THE MUSICAL at Artisan Center Theatre, the Wealthy Woman in DISASTER at Onstage in Bedford, and the Narrator in INTO THE WOODS with the Greater Cleburne Carnegie Players. Recently he played George Merry in Plaza Theatre's TREASURE ISLAND, and Grrrremio in Plaza Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park production of TAMING OF THE SHREW. He was the Assistant Stage Manager at the Artes de la Rosa Rose Marine Theatre in 2016. He will next appear in a production of "JAZZTOWN" where he will play the title character Quentin "Jazztown " Scott, the Napoleon loving protagonist. Since first appearing on stage in Johnson County in the Carnegie Players’ 2005 production of SOUTH PACIFIC, Jay has appeared in sixty-seven play productions here in Texas; Zorro is his 38th with the Plaza Theatre Company (PTC). He last appeared on the Plaza stage as Blind Pew and Calico Jack in TREASURE ISLAND. Earlier this year, he appeared in THE MAN WITH THE POINTED TOES, THE LITTLE MERMAID, and SINGING IN THE RAIN. He also appeared as Commander Stone in A FEW GOOD MEN at the Granbury Opera House and as the Pedant in Cleburne’s Shakespeare in the Park production of TAMING OF THE SHREW. This is Amanda’s 3rd show with Plaza Theatre. Previously, Amanda performed in the Ensemble in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and Carol Cratchit in A CHRISTMAS CAROL in 2016. In 2017, she was a contestant at the National American Miss state pageant. Amanda took home 2nd runner up in Talent (top singer). She will be playing Young Simba in the Plaza Academy's production of THE LION KING in the spring of 2018. Her favorite pastimes are singing and playing soccer. is a junior at Christian Life Preparatory School. She is delighted to return to the Plaza stage, having had a long break since her last performance here in 42nd SREET. You may have seen her as Annie in ANNIE, Miriam in DEAR RUTH, and a Bird Girl in SEUSSICAL. She has also performed the role of Mary Lennox in SECRET GARDEN with Granbury Theatre Company, and she has performed with Casa Mañana and the Fort Worth Opera. In addition to theatre, Rachel enjoys competitive Irish dance. She recently achieved the level of Open Champion and competed at the North American Irish Dance Championships in New Orleans. Her many other passions include competing on her school Youth and Government team, ballet, playing piano, learning math and science, painting, and making costumes.

Brittany Jenkins is a graduate of Texas Tech University where she received her BA in Dance. She is currently the resident choreographer for Kids Who Care in Fort Worth where she recently choreographed PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN and THE LITTLER MERMAID. Growing up she received most of her training with Carrie Cheng, Margo Dean School of Ballet and with Elise Lavallee. She has also participated in Broadway Theatre Project and The Performing Arts Project where she was able to work with an array of Broadway and film actors, casting directors, vocal directors and other professionals in the Theatre and Dance world. Originally from Los Angeles, Carlo has studied both Martial Arts and Stage Combat for 20 years. Carlo is part fight stud, part video game/comic book loving nerd, and father of three. Now in Dallas, TX he is a founding member of the stage combat organization SCDallas, LLC and enjoys teaching sword fighting, whip cracking, and many other theatrical combat styles to all ages. Carlo is an action specialist that has been recognized by the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) as an Actor Combatant and as proficient in Theatrical Firearms Safety. His range of work, both performance and fight choreography, have been seen on The History Channel, the Hollywood Bowl, the House of Blues, Dallas Winspear Opera House, Greater Lewisville Community Theatre, and more. He regularly teaches open classes for adults and children in schools and other venues. Carlo is excited to be a part of the ZORRO production and thankful to be part of the Plaza family.

Aaron is one of the four founding producers of Plaza Theatre Company and has performed in many different shows here such as Shrek in SHREK THE MUSICAL, Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Nicely Nicely Johnson in GUYS AND DOLLS, Horton in SEUSSICAL, Charlie Brown in GOOD MAN...CHARLIE BROWN, Buffalo Bill in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, and many more. Aaron has also won multiple Column Awards including Best Actor in a Musical (as Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF), Multiple Best Director, Best Scenic Design, and Best Sound Design, and the Rudy Seppy Volunteer Award.
