Jesse first performed as Hugo Peabody in BYE BYE BIRDIE at Plaza and has since felt most at home on the Plaza stage and appeared in numerous shows including CAMELOT, TREASURE ISLAND, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, and most recently, he played Lt. William Seawright in DEAR RUTH, which is one of his favorite roles, as well as Zorro in ZORRO THE MUSICAL, Bob Cratchit in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and Morris Delancey in NEWSIES. This will be Jesse’s first appearance in Plaza’s Shakespeare in the Park, and he couldn’t be more excited. “I feel so blessed to be able to be a part of such a marvelous group of performers and production team. CC is excited to kick off her second show with Plaza Theatre Company with this years Shakespeare in the Park! You may have seen her in THE LITTLE MERMAID (2018) as Arista. She just graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with BFA in Performance. Some of CC's favorite stage roles include; Hermia in A MIDSUMMERS NIGHT DREAM, Emily Webb in OUR TOWN and Mary Lennox in THE SECRET GARDEN. Kat is thrilled to join Plaza’s Shakespeare in the Park for the 3rd time. You may have seen her last Titania in MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM or Kate in TAMING OF THE SHREW. Next up she will be playing Donna in Carnegie Players production of MAMMA MIA, running June 21-July 7 at the Cleburne Conference Center. A Fort Worth native Kat earned her BA from the University of Arkansas and her MFA from the University of Missouri Kansas City. She spent 11 years after school traveling the country doing theater and ended up in LA where she worked as after show host. “Thank you so much Plaza for another incredible summer!”

Kevin has had the privilege of being in every production of Shakespeare in the Park so far. Traditionally he plays the father figure and this year is no exception. Hopefully he is a much better father in real life. Kevin is a veteran actor and director here at PTC. Next up he will be directing the lovely play, DRIVING MISS DAISY which opens at Dudley Hall in August. Aaron is one of the four founding producers of Plaza Theatre Company and has performed in many different shows here such as Shrek in SHREK THE MUSICAL, Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Uncle Fester in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, Nicely Nicely Johnson in GUYS AND DOLLS, Horton in SEUSSICAL, Charlie Brown in GOOD MAN...CHARLIE BROWN, Buffalo Bill in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, and many more. Aaron has also won multiple DFW area Column Awards including Best Actor in a Musical (as Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and as Edna in HAIRSPRAY), Multiple Best Director, Best Scenic Design, and Best Sound Design awards and the Rudy Seppy Volunteer Award. Aaron is a proud father of three wonderful kids and husband to Milette Siler.

Freddy is exceedingly, exceptionally, extraordinarily excited to be returning to Plaza Theatre for his 5th appearance in Shakespeare in the Park. Recently he played Ebenezer Scrooge A CHRISTMAS CAROL, at the Granbury Theatre, and won a Column Award for his portrayal of Chef Louis in Plaza's THE LITTLE MERMAID. He is also a member of Plaza's improv troupe, The ImPLAZAbles. Last year he was the Stage Manager for ELEMENTAL: NATURE'S RHAPSODY in Dallas as part of the AT&T Elevator Project. He will next appear in a production of GONE WITH THE WIND where he will play The Wind. He'd like to thank his mother, father, and as always, Meryl Streep.

This is Saul's second production in Plaza's Shakespeare in the Park and he is just as excited to preform with such a great cast! You may remember him from last year's production as Demetrius from MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. Stephen is returning to Shakespeare in the park, after skipping a year, where he last played the love-sick, rich, youth Lucentio in TAMING OF THE SHREW where he wooed his wife onstage before she was his wife. He was last seen on stage at Granbury Theatre Company in 7 BRIDES FOR 7 BROTHERS as Caleb; and earlier this year he played the comic Eddie McCuen in THE MUSICAL COMEDY MURDERS OF 1940. Some favorite roles include: Riff, the charismatic and athletic leader of the Jets, in WEST SIDE STORY; and the very energetic Cosmo Brown in SINGIN' IN THE RAIN. After Graduating from UTA with a Bachelors in Music composition and theory, he is working toward becoming a music teacher. Stephen is very grateful to have the time to be apart of the Plaza family. Stephen would also like to thank his family, Church family, friends, and loving savior Jesus Christ for giving him the strength and encouragement to do this show. Previous credits include TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, THE SECRET GARDEN (Plaza Theatre), ALL I REALLY NEED TO KNOW I LEARNED IN KINDERGARTEN, THE HOMECOMING, OKLAHOMA (Carnegie Players), ANNIE (Artisan Theatre), OTHELLO (Bare Bones Shakespeare). Trevin is a middle school theatre teacher, which he considers the best job in the world.

Cherie is excited to be in her first Plaza Theatre’s Shakespeare in the Park production. This will be her 13th show here at Plaza. Some of her favorite roles include Mayor Matilda Hyde in ALL SHOOK UP; Eulalie MacKecknie Shinn in THE MUSIC MAN; Mrs. Potts in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST; the cantankerous Sister Berthe in THE SOUND OF MUSIC; Narrator in JOSEPH…DREAMCOAT; and, of course, who could forget Maude in SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN-HOMECOMING. She has retired from the workplace and is finally understanding exactly what retired life means. Cherie has been married to her favorite Firefighter and high school sweetheart, Joe, for 37 years and they have two fantastic adult children and have been blessed with three of the most precious grandchildren, Hayden, Piper and Sutton. She would like to thank Luke and the Plaza producers for their faith in her and giving her this opportunity to once again become part of the Plaza family.

This is Luke's 50th production with Plaza Theatre Company and 5th straight year with Cleburne Shakespeare in the Park. He was actively involved with outdoor Shakespeare productions in the 1990s up to and including producing his own festival in Lake Arrowhead, CA in 1996. He played Claudius in the inaugural Cleburne Shakes production of HAMLET, and played Benedick the following year in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. Since then he has served as the director for TAMING OF THE SHREW and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM. He has appeared as an actor at Plaza most recently in the roles of Judge Harry Wilkins in DEAR RUTH and Joseph Pulitzer in NEWSIES. He received the 2019 Column Award for Best Actor in a Play Non Equity for Atticus Finch in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD at Plaza Theatre last spring. He is the Theatre Arts Director at Alvarado High School. He is a co-owner of Dance Across Cleburne with his wife and co-director Rachel.
