After leaving the Army following WWII, Bob and Phil team up to become a top song-and-dance act. They soon meet a pair of beautiful sisters who also have an act. When the girls travel to a Vermont lodge to perform a Christmas show, Bob and Phil follow, only to find their former commander is the lodge owner. A series of romantic mix-ups ensue as the performers try to help the General.
