Aaron is one of the four founding producers of Plaza Theatre Company and has performed in many different shows here such as Shrek in SHREK THE MUSICAL, Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Nicely Nicely Johnson in GUYS AND DOLLS, Horton in SEUSSICAL, Charlie Brown in GOOD MAN...CHARLIE BROWN, Buffalo Bill in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, and many more. Aaron has also won multiple Column Awards including Best Actor in a Musical (as Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF), Multiple Best Director, Best Scenic Design, and Best Sound Design, and the Rudy Seppy Volunteer Award. Aaron is a proud father of three wonderful kids and husband to Milette Siler.

LK is passionate about promoting, encouraging and training artists. She is a professional singer, pianist and actor with advanced degrees in music and theatre. She has sung throughout Europe and the US in opera and concert work including solo performances at The Kennedy Center, Pittsburgh Opera, Tuscia Opera Festival and two PBS solo concert programs. She is a published playwright, composer and national drama critic. She has sung the National Anthem on television for 4 major league sports teams. LK works as a talent agent and a coach to performers in her studio (MonaLisaStudios.com) in Fort Worth, as a college professor and an international clinician. Some of her favourite roles include Golde in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Rose in GYPSY, and Amanda in THE GLASS MENAGERIE. LK is a big Plaza Theatre fan and is so excited to be a part of this talented and gracious company! Philippians 3:8.

JACESON P. BARRUS

Returning to the role of Stanley feels like coming home to JaceSon. This will be his 7th production in this role that he truly feels blessed to play. Other favorite roles that JaceSon has played at PlazaCo include Harold Hill in THE MUSIC MAN, Will Rogers in THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES and Pap Finn in BIG RIVER for which he received the 2016 Column Award for Best Supporting Actor in a non-Equity musical. JaceSon is the full time Artistic Director here at Plaza and feels very fortunate to do what he loves with people he loves every day. He is the proud father of seven amazing human beings, the happy husband of the lovely Tina and soon to be a grandfather to little Gemma Violet who will be arriving this September to oldest daughter Tabitha and her husband Saul. Life is good y'all, enjoy what you have.

Stephen has enjoyed doing many productions here at Plaza. He was last seen here at Plaza as Cosmo Brown in SINGIN' IN THE RAIN and as LUCENTIO in TAMING OF THE SHREW; Plaza's Shakespeare in the park production. After Graduating from UTA with a Bachelors in Music composition, Stephen now teaches dance in Arlington, reads, and writes music when he is not doing theatre. Stephen is very grateful to have the time to be apart of the best, and most popular family at Plaza: the Sanders family. Stephen Would like to thank his family, friends, and loving savior Jesus Christ for giving him the strength to do this show. "Let us praise Him".

Jill is thrilled to be having her own Smoke on the Mountain homecoming, having last played the role of Denise in the 2010 production. She was most recently seen at Plaza in SINGIN' IN THE RAIN (Kathy Selden), YAGM, CHARLIE BROWN (Sally), and BIG RIVER (Mary Jane). Other recent credits include MAME and OF THEE I SING at Lyric Stage and TITANIC IN CONCERT at Uptown Players. Jill received her B.M. in Musical Theatre Performance from Oklahoma City University and teaches middle school Theatre in Mansfield ISD. Kelly is a proud Baylor Theatre grad and a theatre teacher at All Saints' Episcopal School in Fort Worth. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Joe, for 35 years and they have two children, Samantha and Daniel, and has been blessed with three of the most precious grandchildren, Hayden, Piper and Sutton.

Priscilla Nix says "Amen & Hallelujah" for getting to be in her 6th PlazaCo production. This is her 3rd time to play Miss Maude and she is well-suited for this character, having grown up in a Baptist church where she had first-hand experience with "old ladies who like to tell other people what to do"!! In the past few years, she played Mrs. Durgin in POLLYANNA and played a nun in both PlazaCo productions of THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Priscilla is a "church-lady" in real life because she is the church secretary for Westhill Church of Christ. In her free time, Priscilla loves spending time with her family and her 2 dogs, Willie & Juno. Taffy is exhilarated to be back working at Plaza, because it is such a place of joy. You may have seen her as one of the Amen Ladies in many other productions of the SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN series. This particular production is especially fun, because her beloved husband Howard is the fiddler for the show. She loves directing here. Her shows include POLLYANNA, ANNIE, STEEL MAGNOLIAS, DEAR RUTH, and THE HAPPIEST MILLIONAIRE. Taffy has also worked at other North Texas theaters. Artisan Center Theater in Hurst has been particularly generous in producing some of Taffy's scripts, for stories like ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN, A WRINKLE IN TIME, and A CHRISTMAS CAROL MIRACLE. During the school year, Taffy is happy teaching theater classes at Travis Academy of Fine Arts.

Ruth Ann is honored to be part of another production. You may have seen her on stage in MARY POPPINS, HEAVEN CAN WAIT, POLLYANNA, FATHER OF THE BRIDE, DEAR RUTH, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, A CHRISTMAS CAROL in 2012, RAGTIME or FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. Ruth Ann has also been privileged to stage manage MARY POPPINS, THE SECRET GARDEN, HEAVEN CAN WAIT, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, SHREK THE MUSICAL, THE WIZARD OF OZ, FATHER OF THE BRIDE, CAMELOT, THE KING AND I and WHITE CHRISTMAS here at Plaza. She has also appeared in MARY POPPINS and stage managed THE DROWSY CHAPERONE at Granbury Theatre Company as well as costuming 1776, IS HE DEAD and THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES there with he accomplished daughter Emily. Cheri has been a part of Plaza Theatre Company since the very beginning as the music director for our preview week performances and the music director for our first production of YOUR A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN in 2007. Since then she has been involved in many prodcutions over the years. You may remember her from CLUE THE MUSICAL as the piano player or in all of the SMOKE productions and as the musical director for numerous other productions here at PlazaCo and also at Artisan Center Theater in Hurst. Cheri is the music teacher and choral director at Stone Gate Christian Academy in Irving, TX and also instructs private piano, voice, and guitar.
