Kat Endsley (Katharia/Hostess) – Kat is thrilled to be tackling her first show with Plaza! You may remember her from such Carnegie shows as Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel), Cinderella (Ugly Step Sister), Sound of Music (Barrenness), Sylvia (Sylvia), Little Women (Meg) and South Pacific (Liat). After acting around the metroplex during high school she earned her BA in Theatre from the University of Arkansas and a MFA in Acting from University of Missouri-Kansas City. Post grad school she spent 2 years in Oceano, CA working for The Great American Melodrama, and 3 months touring the east coast with the Hampstead Players. After which, she moved to LA to peruse her dreams. During that time she hosted The True Blood After Show, Game of Thrones Seasons 1-4 recap, The Blacklist After Show, and Scandal After Show. JACESON BARRUS
(Petruchio/Christopher Sly)
This is not JaceSon's first foray into taming the shrew having appeared as Fred/Petruchio in Kiss Me Kate on multiple occasions, but this will be his first opportunity to play the role in a full production of The Taming of the Shrew itself. Plaza patrons may recognize JaceSon as the Artistic Director and a co-producer at Plaza Theatre Company and may have seen him in a few Plaza productions including as Harold Hill in THE MUSIC MAN, as Will Rogers in THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES or as Pap Fin in BIG RIVER for which he received the 2016 Column Award for Best Supporting Actor in a non-Equity musical. JaceSon is also the very fortunate father of 7 and the lucky husband of 1, the beautiful Tina who together with JaceSon is looking forward to the arrival of their first grandchild in September. STEPHEN SINGLETON

This is Steven's first Shakespeare in the Park, and his very first time doing Shakespeare at all. He has appeared many times at Plaza; most recently as Cosmo Brown in Singin' in the Rain. When he is not performing, he teaches dance in Arlington, composes music, and reads when he has the time. He would like to thank God for giving him the strength to do what he loves, his family for supporting him, and his friends for encouraging him. TREVIN MCLAUGHLIN

Trevin is honored to return to Plaza, where he last appeared as Lt. Wright in THE SECRET GARDEN. Trevin has also appeared as Nessie in CHASING LIGHTS (Gateway Performing Arts), and Rumplestiltskin/Actor in THE BROTHERS GRIMM SPECTACULATHON: THE MUSICAL (Haltom Alumni Association). Trevin is a theatre teacher at North Oaks Middle School, which he considers the best job in the entire world. Trevin would like to thank his Mom for seeing every one of his shows, his incredibly talented cast and crew, which has felt like a very funny family, and his wonderful students for inspiring him daily.

Kevin is excited to play a small part in helping to continue the new Cleburne tradition with this third installment of Plaza Theatre’s Shakespeare in the Park. The inaugural year he portrayed Polonius in HAMLET, and Leonato in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING in the second year. This year he continues to exploit his daddy issues with this delightful production as the father of two lovely young ladies. Freddy is immensely excited to be part of his third Shakespear in the Park production here in Cleburne. Recently he has played Stephen Belber, Doc O'Conner, etc. in THE LARAMIE PROJECT and was the Assistant Stage Manager at the Artes de la Rosa Rose Marine Theatre in 2016. His next project is a musical rendition of HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. He'd like to thank his mother, father, and Meryl Streep.

Robert is thrilled to be appearing once more in Plaza's Shakespeare in the park. He was last seen on Stage in THE MAN WITH THE POINTED TOES. Some of his favorite roles and Shows he has appeared in over the years are Marc Antony in JULIUS CAESAR, Charlie Baker in THE FOREIGNER, Fredrick Fellowes in NOISES OFF, Detective Sargent Troughton in RUN FOR YOUR WIFE, El Fayoumy in THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT, and a referee / Puck / and Macbeth in Shakespearean Deathmatch. This elusive Robert has also been caught on film in season 3 of PRISON BREAK, DEALEY PLAZA, and ZUGIO AND THE SUNSHINE KIDZ.

QUENTIN SCOTT

Quentin is a green horn in the Shakespearean world, yet that hasn't discouraged him from taking up the role of Biondello for Shakespeare in the Park. While still relatively new to Plaza, Quentin is already an avid frequenter of Plaza. You may have seen him this past year in such shows as MARY POPPINS, MAN WITH... TOES, or ANNE OF GREEN GABLES. He would like to thank his family, friends, and all of those others who have gone to great lengths to make his love of playing on the Plaza stage possible.

Jake has been a strong performer at Alvarado High School (AHS) for three years and is taking the stage for his first (with many to come) Shakespeare in the Park performance(s). Jake is an upcoming Senior and Vice President of Thepian Troupe 4243 at the high school. He has been a part of such plays as: Lucas Beineke in THE ADDAMS FAMILY MUSICAL at AHS, Hermes in PERSEPHONE, and now Grumio in THE TAMING OF A SHREW. This is Lacy's first time on stage, and she could not have asked for a better company to start with! Lacy teaches junior high orchestra in Arlington and is an avid supporter of the arts. With this performance in SHREW, Jay is appearing in his fifth consecutive show since the first of the year. The first three of those shows were all with the Plaza Theatre Company appearing as Randall Wright in THE MAN WITH THE POINTED TOES, Grimsby in THE LITTLE MERMAID, and EF Simpson in SINGIN IN THE RAIN. His fourth performance was as Cmdr. Walter Stone in the Granbury Theatre Company’s production of A FEW GOOD MEN in the Granbury Opera House. Before moving to Cleburne, Jay was an athletics administrator in Colorado, where he also officiated basketball, football and track and field. He now lives with his number one fan – his beautiful wife Corlis.

This is Chris' first foray into the world of Shakespeare and his second production with Plaza after playing Mr. Banks in MARY POPPINS, THE MUSICAL. He is super happy to have found his way to this amazing group of artists from Arlington where he teaches Choir at Ousley Junior High. He was most recently seen as Sir Lawrence Wargrave in AND THEN THERE WERE NONE and the Mysterious Man in INTO THE WOODS both at Greater Carnegie Players. Stormy is pleased to working the third annual Shakespeare in the Park! It is the best way to start the summer! This year she has the high privilege of stage managing this fine, talented cast! They have been such a blessing! You will have recently seen Stormy at other Plaza Co shows including ANNE OF GREENE GABLES, SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, MAN WITH THE POINTED TOES, CHRISTMAS CAROL, MARY POPPINS, THE SECRET GARDEN, SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, SANDER'S FAMILY CHRISTMAS, SHE LOVES ME, and 42ND ST.! She has also costumed designed YOU"RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN and the last two Shakespeare in the Park productions that are co-produced by Cleburne Chamber of Commerce and Plaza Theatre Co. This is Luke's 36th production with Plaza Theatre Company and 3rd with Cleburne Shakespeare in the Park. He has appeared on the Plaza stage as Long John Silver in TREASURE ISLAND, Froggy LeSeuer in THE FOREIGNER, George Banks in MARY POPPINS, and most recently as Dickens in A CHRISTMAS CAROL. He has also appeared locally as Sweeney Todd in the Granbury Theatre Company production of SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET. He has served as the director of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM and ROMEO AND JULIET with the Carnegie Players, and several other Shakespearean plays in California, including THE TAMING OF THE SHREW. He is the Theatre Arts Director at Alvarado High School and is a co-owner of Dance Across Cleburne with his wife, Rachel.
