CELESTE SAINTE-MARIE
(Mrs.Potts)
fell in love with drama in a fourth grade class play. In high school she starred as the strange little girl in THE BAD SEED. The love grew. In the 80’s she did several plays at Cornerstone Christian Theatre in Ft. Worth, and her two precious children, Jason and Phoebe, were born about then. Celeste wrote and directed two short plays in '89 and '90. She believes directing is sometimes easier than acting since she has such a struggle memorizing lines. She played Margeretta in Carnegie's SOUND OF MUSIC and a milkmaid in OLIVER. She had the privilege of getting and directing the children's musical THE PIED PIPER. She feels this was her most God-blessed experience in drama. More love. She is thrilled to play Mrs. Potts in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and states, "This is the MOOOOOST choice role in my life! Being on stage scares me senseless, but I keep coming back for more. Make sense of that! Well, love doesn't make sense, does it?”
